Merry Christmas again to everyone.. It seems that this year is very different from last year, I dont but in our place , there were fewer firecrackers in the eve and lesser people in the streets, I mean , much lesser than expected , provided that the attention for many people(including
myself) to be doing other things. It is really true that there is so much to do know than the past which means our usual activities which is already relevant. I expected everyone to be online most of the time, some even play dota, farmville ,access their facebook , friendster accounts etc during the holidays. I’m also amazed with our ISP(Internet service provider) that the connection is all well during the peak hours.

Well, that is probably better than being getting hurt by firecrackers or being hit by a stray bullet(thats scary). Thats what technology do and I
can imagine in the near future that everyone will be online during the holidays and greet each othere there( that would save greeting cards and paper). Of course the true spirit of Christmas is not about having all the earthly things, its also about knowing that you are not alone in this quiet(or chaotic) holidays..

It is not really that surprising today that people are searching for other ways to make money, especially in this time of economic crisis, though only few know that you can make money online. The world wide web is continuing to grow in numbers despite of the current situation, many users are now using the internet as a tool not only for students or as source of information. It is now a business tool that can create a market of various fields and a becoming a source of income.

Many sources from the web are offering paid programs in exchange of service. Some are scams and some are real. I have been a victim of scams before though it doesn’t cost me a cent, it just that they used your site/blog to post backlinks to their site( not to mention the time wasted in registering for an account).

It really takes both patience and luck which is I honestly say is true I mean I was one of those who want to monetize from blogging (that was my first goal), and it came to know that there is more to it than earning or monetizing a blog/website(which is very true in real life). Just having the fun of writing a post and expressing your opinions and read articles from other bloggers which can be a really source of information for just about everything. Many of them also have an intention of monetizing their blog.

No matter what my reasons for blogging is, it is still important that it is not all about monetizing or making money online, just having the freedom to express yourself as well as to provide information and share knowledge to others is already good start.

I saw a young woman in the mall probably in her early 20′s, it is really amazing to see even though she is pregnant, she still has that beauty in her, everytime I look at her, It seems that she is not pregnant, it’s just that I was thinking how she maintained her outlook that seems very rare to find.

I just recently found this article somewhere in the internet, though I am not really an expert about this stuff. I found this article interesting. I’ve read about this kind of topic in many blogs/websites but this enumerations of love is in a biblical perspective which is seldom known by individuals (I hope not), you can comment or object anything you want here, anyways, here are the lists.

Many Kinds of Love

Ideally, we find Romantic love between one man and one woman. We write poetry about it. It may end beautifully or tragically. We get to know each other in order to form a lasting and mutual relationship. We can find an example of a romantic love in marriages that last even into old age. Most marriages start out with romantic love, but only the strongest are those that last. Successful marriages developed into quite a different kind of love.

Lustful love usually ends up hurting someone. It’s the one mentioned in the Bible with David and Bathsheba. David sent Uriah into full account of the battle so he would die. Lustful love is the kind that ruins lives and reputations. We find it in adultery and fornication. It cares only about sex. Now I do not want to hurt anyone. I just want to expose a very dangerous happening that we falsely called love.

Selfish love cannot be legitimate, unless it comes from the Almighty. People are not perfect enough for it and so we cannot demand it. God insists on it for Himself. He wants our whole devotion so we can live a high-quality life. You see He wants the best for us. The Bible is about His selfish love, and only He can require it. There is nothing greater than this love. If we give unselfish love to Him, we will live as Christ lived. This is probably beyond our abilities. That is why Christ died for our sins.

Friendship love is a caring love. Ideally, we find it everywhere. Found in all peaceful relationships. We find it between all kinds of people and even between people and animals. It is a special love that has no demands or conditions. We all should form one with each other. It is what Jonathan had for David, while Saul was trying to kill David in a jealous rage. We find it in the commandments and in the second greatest commandment ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Found in Matthew 22:37-40.)

Smothering love is the kind that demands constant attention. One will not let another have a life. We see it when one person wants to tie him self or her self to another human being and will not let them out of their sight. It seems like harassment. It comes from a very needy person, one who has not resolved issues, especially childhood abandonment and neglect. These people need professional help and prayer. Be kind but firm with them. Abuse only makes this kind of love worse. These persons have already suffered too much. Smothering love is not hopeless if the person can accept Biblical instruction and/or proper professional help.

Tough love is a love needed to bring up a child into a psychologically healthy adult. It lets child learn from his or her mistakes, and they have us as shoulders to lean on and to give them support. It is an unconditional love. It is the kind of love given by the Almighty, when we mess up. We find it in the New Testament. Jesus showed us this love by example.

Childish love is what children have for their parents. It is a needy love, but we cannot compare it with smothering love. Childish love can become independent and strong. Strength lives there that we cannot find in the other. It only needs awakened and developed through example, nurturing, and instruction, and as the child matures, he or she develops an unconditional love for others.

Unrequited love was what Christ had when He died for our sins. We find it in some broken marriages, the prodigal son or daughter, and in one-way friendship. It, like lustful love, is hurtful. Only here, we see a victim, the one who offers unconditional love and does not receive it.

Popularity love is gained with the promise that with associating with that person, you will profit. We call them fair weather friends. He or she soon disappears when life has given the love one a few hardships. Peter had this kind of love, when he denied Christ three times. Thankfully, he overcame it and developed agape love. If he had not, we would not be reading first and second Peter in the New Testament.

Godly love is a perfect love. It is the love that is willing to go so far as to give up ones’ life for another. Very few people can attain such love. It is all that is good in all the other loves. Most of the disciples attained it. Others have attained it, but only God knows who all of them are.

Which type do you belong?, just comment your answers.

Ever since I was introduced to computers, I have known different people from around the world. Come to think of it. If I count my number of friends online and friends in the real world. The number of online friends is catching up fast.

Many are using the Internet all over the world. Not only are they using it for finding information, they are also using the Internet as a way to meet new people and to make new friends. The Internet allows people from all over the world to talk about their lives and to form new relationships with each other through social networking sites, blogs, forums and more.

Virtual friends can serve many different purposes in your life. One is treat your online/virtual friend as merely a friend, while some see them as a love interest and even of you have boyfriends or girlfriends online (usually popular in the States, but also increasing here in the Philippines).

Though some get lucky meeting that special someone online but it is rare and usually the it is not lasting. It is best to prefer people you actualy meet and talk in person as there is a huge difference in just sitting imagining someone you havent met. So becareful when meeting people online and always consider security and safety for both online users.

I remember the first time I was hired as a part time employee, I got all excited because it is my first job, I really amazed myself that I can do study and work.

Even when there is a project in school, I can still keep up with my work. Though some people at that doubtful of my decision. Some say that I must first finish and focus on my studies before I can work. But I tend to ingnore them (Not rebelling). And it earned, after I graduated, I still already have a job right away.

But as far as where I am now, I’m really glad I keep up with my job. As I am writing this blog right now in the office (Shhhh..)I’ve been thinking if I havent got this job or have been to a different company, then possibly It will be different story of my life (No room for regrets though ). The important is I’ve got a life and no matter what other people say. It is your life, your decision and wherever you are now is the result of your decisions you made…bow

The articles I have post are really in random basis, When I see an interesting article or topic for the web, I modify a little a paste it on my blog. Though some may think of it as a scraping of data or just plain copying of ideas (pirated).

The whole idea of blogging for me is not just about posting whatever you want in order to gain audience or visitors or worst to market or promote a site ( spamming in short). It is a way were people meet around the globe sharing ideas, experiences, happiness, joy, laughter, weird, facts coming from the people itself posting the topic in their blogs (wow thats hard).

Well the truth of the matter is blogging is just way of sending the message to the whole world that they/it exists. It really is a simple psychology where people want to see other people do stuffs (even the crazy ones). We are a curious creature you know. and what blogging is all about…

Psychologists have recently handed the keys to happiness to the public, but many people cling to gloomy ways out of habit, experts say.

Happiness is 50 percent genetic, says University of Minnesota researcher David Lykken. What you do with the other half of the challenge depends largely on determination, psychologists agree. As Abraham Lincoln once said, “Most people are as happy as they make up their minds to be.”

What works, and what doesn’t

Happiness does not come via prescription drugs, although 10 percent of women 18 and older and 4 percent of men take antidepressants, according to the Department of Health and Human Services. Anti-depressants benefit those with mental illness but are no happiness guarantee, researchers say.

Nor will money or prosperity buy happiness for many of us. Money that lifts people out of poverty increases happiness, but after that, the better paychecks stop paying off sense-of-well-being dividends, research shows.

One route to more happiness is called “flow,” an engrossing state that comes during creative or playful activity. Athletes, musicians, writers, gamers, and religious adherents know the feeling. It comes less from what you’re doing than from how you do it.

It has discovered that the road toward a more satisfying and meaningful life involves a recipe repeated in schools, churches and synagogues. Make lists of things for which you’re grateful in your life, practice random acts of kindness, forgive your enemies, notice life’s small pleasures, take care of your health, practice positive thinking, and invest time and energy into friendships and family.

I think of this only as a part of my work. I was assigned first in SEO(Search Engine Optimization) and I have to find a way to promote the company’s site either in the no of indices and page ranks in google, It is rather a difficult task more than I thought. I have tried eveything from writing forums, social bookmarks, web directories and still not enought success.

And I have observe that blogs have a very high online traffic, and I can build links easily through posting the links of the site. I have also encountered some bloggers that are just like me in terms of field of work. It help rise my websites indices and much more, I got to meet a lot people in the web whether they are in the Philippines or not.

Blogging is not about just expressing yourself, it is a kind of lifestyle where people can share their thoughts and feelings without any hindrances or barriers.
