An event which is one of the most popular and satisfying of all, the “School Graduation”. Another batch of students are taking on a new journey in their life as school life ends. In graduation ceremonies, many expected to end of a chapter of their of life which is considered the most fun and complicated experience which is school life. I am addressing this article more to those who will be leaving college/school life. True that it is a bit nostalgic in my part because it does bring back all the memories, the fun, melodramatic scenes, crushes, canteen food, school breaks, exams, teachers and everything you can experience in a school life.

As the saying goes.. all good things must come to an end, including the not so good things. So it cannot be a overall bad thing after all, isn’t it?. I mean who would not want to go outside and experience what the real world would be like (except those who are not ready). Though it still depends upon the readiness and preparation of the graduates. Currently more will be added in the job hunters and knowing the state of employment here in the country, it can be a nerve wracking experience especially when you are not confident enough to take on the job hunting process (resume, interview, requirements, etc).

This milestone event does not only give you assurance but also a kind relief (school requirements, exams, cramming, tuition) not only in your part but to also the people around you especially your parents or the one supporting your tuition payments. Give them credit. Your classmates who have been in your side for better (exams, night outs XD ) or for worse (absences, night outs, bad habits, haha), don’t forget theme (add them in FB :D )

I know school life will be missed, this not the end of the so called happiness(in school life) because I tell you, there is more out there in the real world and anything can happen for better or for worse. Enjoy life and congratulations to all the 2012 graduates. :)

Personal Space

I stumble upon an article line, which is kinda true for many (me included :D )

Personal space is the region surrounding a person which they regard as psychologically theirs. Most people value their personal space and feel discomfort, anger, or anxiety when their personal space is encroached.[1] Permitting a person to enter personal space and entering somebody else’s personal space are indicators of perception of the relationship between the people. There is an intimate zone reserved for lovers, children and close family members. Source; Wiki

But this time, I am going to elaborate more on “personal space online”, I mean most of our interactions in this time and age are online or in the web. So the technicalities of these topic is somehow broad but very familiar in some way or another. Having a personal space online is really different from the actual or the physical space which is already categorize in the above image.

The interesting fact (based on the image) is that Social space is just outside the personal space which is kinda far for some especially when we relate it to personal online space. Physically, the distance is similar to intimate for personal space even others publicly can access a closer zone. So social media has really affect the way we see people or how we interact with them. For example, We have the tendency to be intimate with online friends even though you just met or even strangers.

In the personal space, you can relate it first as social space, but it the social media network, the space is closer than you think (psychologically). That is why many are getting intimate online even they barely know the person, in terms on how they treated everyone online especially with their Facebook friends

Each of our Facebook friends can also be divided according to how close or what relationship they have with others. I bet many group them into one space category which is really common for all but some really have a way to group them to avoid unwanted viewers (or worst stalkers). The advantage is that we can keep track of people especially our close families and friends but what about those who we just met or just hang outwhich we have given them access to our personal space online (except when you set privacy controls in your social networking settings).

This is also why I sometimes (really sometimes) get irritated when some suddenly enters and intrude my personal space for that manner, though each of us have a different personal space range, maybe some has a very wide social space (especially online) and also has its own rules when it comes to personal space and privacy. Knowing a person is very important on how you can measure or test how we see our own personal space both physically , psychologically and online space. Just remember the limits. cheers :)

Experience the New Skechers Running Shoes

Since marathons are getting more popular in our place and I mean popular that these events are organized by big companies and not just merely for a charity event but a major sports event and a contest. Runners from different places even from Nigeria and those professional runners from other countries  came here to compete with the local runners and from what I saw is that not only they have the physical ability and training for running, they also have the right set of gears an equipment perfect for running and these are really high quality specially the ‘Shoes’.

There are many shoe companies today that are making these shoes specially made for running, you can name almost all of them and they have their own set of unique characteristics which differentiate them from other shoes. Then I got the chance to wear one from Skechers, I also got the opportunity to know about the product and about the running shoes itself. It is really amazing to know the technologies and concepts into just making running shoes.

Red ProSpeed SRR Model

The ProSpeed SRR features the patented Smart Shoe™ Technology, the rocker-bottom that guides runners into mid-foot strike position. This mid-foot strike design transforms the energy of impact, through the Kinetic Return System, into forward motion with every stride.

“The shoes literally give runners a spring in their step as they feel a distinctive bounce forward upon toe-off or push off,” Andrada adds.

The Skechers ProSpeed SRR is also lightweight due to the Resalyte™ cushioning with memory retention that reduces impact for a supported, comfortable ride during runs. Each ProSpeed comes in just under 10 oz. per shoe depending on the size.

I also got the chance to wear one, at first step you can really tell the difference between and ordinary shoes from a running shoes (I was wearing a sneakers then). The weight itself is very light indeed as if your are on barefoot and the heels has a very soft cushioning that really felt like you are floating or bouncing in each step. The design itself is neat and not to showy or distracting which can be worn by both male and female. The built is also sturdy and very fit for any running events and marathons. There are also other colors to choose from according to preference (Though I prefer the red one if I have one :D ).

Though Skechers shoes are known for their design shoes and sneakers, their new running shoes are also worth a try and with the new technology and innovation designed for the Skechers Running shoes. I recommend it to those who are into running marathons or just a casual jogger.
