Good News: Ethics complaint vs Trillanes “APPROVED”

Monday- The Senate committee on Ethics and Privileges found the moral grumbling complaint by Senator Gordon against Trilllanes was found adequate in frame and substance.
However, the committe said that the fifth ground in his ethics complaint must be removed. Which cites two coup d’etat attempts that Trillanes participated. 
The first coup d’etat he joined was last 2003 which happened before he became a senator, while the second was in 2007 where covered by the amnesty. 
Trillanes was given 10 days to explain and file a counter-affidavit by Sen. Tito Sotto III to answer Gordon’s complaint.

Sen. Gordon filed the 23 pages of ethics complaint last Sept. 5 against Trillanes, who allegedly doing unparliamentary deeds, language and conduct. 
He also added that his behavior is causing too much damage to the Senate and people, making it “primordial concern”
Gordon said he wanted to protect the senates dignity. Saying “all senators owe a public institution that, among others, deserves their respect.”
Prior to the complaint Sen. Gordon argued with Trillanes over a comment that the panel members seem to protect some of the Duterte’s family allegedly involved in smuggling of 6.4 billion shabu from China.
Last January, the committee also found an ethics complaint against De Lima, who is presently detained in Camp Crame due to related drug charges who was found sufficient in form and substance.
