If you are living in Philippines particularly in urban areas, Jeepneys are the main mode of transporation, it is affordable , fast(if no traffict) and most fun if you ride with your friends. Many things can happen a jeepney, when travelling you can see different types of people, from young to old, students to professionals, rich or poor(true especially in this crisis) and people from all walks of life. Just as interesting as it is, many things could happen in a jeepney like quarelling, gossips, fonding(careful ladies), caught by CITOM, students expression when they know they will be late for class/work(including yours truly).
Anyways, yesterday noon, on my way home from a mall, I rode a jeepney which I am only the passenger at that time, later, an old man rode the jeepney a sitted across my position, then a very young sexy lady rode sitting beside the old man (not that I wonder why she sitted beside him), so after about a block away, a middle age lady rode and sitted at my side, so we are 4 in all. At first I thought that they are a father and daughter until I notice that they started whispering to each other, At first wonder why they are whispering when they talk, I though it was just nothing, I eventually hear there conversation (not that I eavesdrop of something, I just heard it) about monetary words(money that is), just as before they get off the jeepney the girl went down first and said to the old man (translated from bisaya)”I will be going now SIR”, (what the??) I thought she is the daughter and after a meters away, the old man get off the jeepney, I was still wondering at that time until the middle age lady said “They will eventually meet at the same place… at the motel located between where the young lady and old man stop”.I followed by sight as to where the old man is heading and she is right .I was then like. woah really?.. and she said that the lady is still very young, maybe in her 20′s or something.
Though I know things like this is happening for a long time now, but still seeing it personally is just not right, I know I could not do much anything about it but I really can’t stand to see if that happens to someone I knew (perhaps my relatives or my future daughter), Though society really has to blame this and a lot of wrong perspective in life.
